I gotta say, I loved when Greer says someday he'll be director of the CIA. That actually happens in the books. If the series follows the books, Ryan follows Greer through the ranks, Greer as director and Ryan as deputy director. That's not even the half of it, though. Much later, Ryan would be appointed the vice-presidency for the last few months of a president's second term after the VP resigned in a disgrace, and then the President is assassinated, making Ryan the new President. The books were pretty wild.

Spoilers are for the books, not the show. What happens in the books may or may not happen in the show, but if Amazon plans to run this for several seasons, it may very well go down that same path.

This is why this show is awesome. They are good at translating the real thing and they even make a joke about it:
“We say CIA officer, not agent. Movies always get that wrong.”

Best episode of the show so far. I'm hoping the finale of this season is even better. As for Suleiman, I still hate him. But what he did in this episode was pretty smart, I'll give him that much.

Once again the show almost surprised me by how seemingly accurate it is at the portrayal of (almost?) everything it shows. I've read and watched a lot about the attack on bin Laden's compound, I've watched military documentaries and movies, I've read full declassified CIA reports, recently spent hours listening to highly ranked individuals within the US intelligence and political community talk about Russia's interference in the elections. I'm also familiar with computer security and surrounding subjects. The terms and tools used and the events shown in the series appear to be quite on point. The Russian speaking parts also weren't gibberish as it often happens, and the accents were rather accurate. It's probably safe to assume that the Arabic, Turkish and French parts are on par with it, and even more so considering that there's a comment on here from someone from Turkey that praises the accuracy.

Samir ist freeking me out. His reaction or rather lack of it, when he is told his mother has died was terrifiing. His relationship with his father is as unhealthy as hell.

I like how they wear, how the reasons for the "good" and the "bad" and collateral damage count
