Can't have asked for a better finale. Does away with all the exotic abroad locations and UK rap celeb cameos seen in the previous Netflix-funded seasons to focus on the characters we care about the most. Road life never ends well and Top Boy unflinchingly shows that in all its tragic brutality. Every episode is full of heartbreak, tension and bursts of violence with never-ending ripples touching all the people around them. I can't name a more consistently strong final season of television. 6 hours of perfectly executed climax. TV at its finest.
They jumped the shark.
Felt like these 6 episodes could easily have been condensed into 3 and been the finale of last season instead.
A couple of the episodes drag a bit as a result, but ultimately the ending is satisfying even if it is something most fans will have seen coming for a while now.
Strange watched this a long time ago and season 4 and season 5 ????
