I was afraid a bit in the last two episodes if and when this season is going to click, but I'm glad it did. Alma still feels too protected as if she has nothing to lose from these adventures, whereas for Becca and Bob Odenkirk the stakes are only getting higher. But who knows, maybe she will push others so deep that everything collapses and she's returned to her original life where she has to live with the loss of her father and her cultural heritage? Would that be too cruel? The way she's neglecting her perfect life and avoids her dissertation could be a version of escapism for her, or if they want to push it, an episode in any reality. Season's getting good!
