I'm still very new to Korean, but I'm so confused why the show is called 빈센조 (bin-sen-jo) and not 빈첸소 (bin-chen-so) which is actually much closer to the Italian pronunciation of the name. If the Korean alphabet has the necessary phonemes to very closely pronounce the name as it is in its native language, then why "koreanize" it to sound different?
I liked how much Italian was sprinkled into the show, and actually Song Joong Ki's pronunciation was fairly good. His cadence was a bit off at times, but that's totally understandable. All the cursing and exclaiming in Italian was fun to listen to as someone who grew up with Italian grandparents. I do wonder though, how long it will last. It can't be easy for the actor having so many lines in a language I'm not sure he actually speaks.
