Oh, my God, the pigeons. So dumb. I'm still laughing about it. It's great how that show-long gag has finally paid off!
This show certainly knows how to masterfully blend the serious with the funny.
Narrowly escaping execution thanks to a flocks of pigeons? And then using very heavy subject matter like murder to con a corrupt man into "righting his wrongs"? I loved the shaman bits, they were both very tense and funny. Such fantastic acting, too
Now that we're getting closer to end it seems the serious side will have more of a spotlight, and I'm expecting some big emotional scenes with Vincenzo's mom. At this point I'm convinced she knows who he is and they're both just dancing around that very important conversation. The show has been great so far, so I sincerely hope it manages to land the ending in an epic, satisfying way.
Also, I feel like you could legit make a game out of tracking how many times a character has been taken into custody by police. Someone gets arrested pretty much every episode!
