Going into the second season I was introduced to new characters that were on the other end of the viking situation. It will be interesting to see how they tie this all together.

I probably shouldn't be as surprised that a small scar on King's cheek would get you sold into slavery.
The antagonist Canute probable couldn't go more soft on Thorfinn than that, without rising suspicion that he was in on the Askeladd's plan. Or maybe it's first sign of him going down the darker path yes, please?
How ironic it would be if this new character turned out to be more interesting than the protagonist?)
