Chapeau to the casting director (and the trio, clearly): the chemistry is through the roof, no third wheel in sight.
Also, tho the intimate small talk turned a little cheesy on the roof, overall it's portrayed extremely well - as exemplified best in that final bed scene, where they turn his grumpiness into playfulness in quite a natural and believable way
