I get some really weird vibes from Peach. I thought she might have a crush on Beck because she was holding Beck's hand and kind of stared at her in the previous episode, now she interrogated Joe and wanted to know more about him. But I have some issues with the actress (who I know from Pretty Little Liars) because I always thought she's not good at acting, so now I wonder if Peach is supposed to come across as mysterious/"fake" like she's hiding something or if it's just bad acting...
I'm still unsure where they are going with this. The lead can make Benji seems good by comparison at times, which is no mean feat given how it's established he's a scumbag. And now he could have killed Candace?

Am I the only Dexter fan who flipped at the "Tonight's the Night" line? I'm not sure this was in the book, I feel this was a real reference to us sweet-neurotic-serial-killer suckers :)
Joe is such an interesting character and beck is so lovely. That kiss was so so. I am flattered.
thank god I didn't watch this show when I was 16. I don't trust my younger self to have had the mental capacity to process that no matter how much joe frames himself as the good guy he is scum.
I have a peanut allergy so this episode really put me off, lol. :(

Sometimes the actress playing Beck gives me Dianna Agron vibes. And that's always a good thing.
Don't know what to make of Joe. His methodical, reasoned approach to things (and the narration) reminds me of Dexter at times. Man's got layers and I found myself happy when he 'got the girl' despite his actions. Ugh complex feelings for sure!

The pilot was very promising and this second episode is at the same level. I really like this story so far.
Joe is a very interesting character to follow because already I find myself being totally creeped out by him while at the same time rooting for him to get the girl. He has a warmth and kindness over him, like when he interacts with Paco, that can shift in a split second. Also like that from the voice over we can somewhat tell that he himself doesn't see it as creepy, the way he stalks Beck.
Can't wait to see how this develops further now that he got the girl, and the mention of Candace, what happened there.
