I've found the whole series to be reasonably good - but this episode was a masterstroke, finishing the series, leaving it open to a new series and tying it in with it's sister show, all while retaining the charm of the underlying story.
It's not great tv that will be talked about in 10 or 20 years time - but it is entertaining in the mean time.

such a sad episode to end the season on but was good to see the show depict the the other 6 Big Bang characters as children

For some reason, the ending made me cry a little! It was so beautiful! Definitely my most favorite episode yet!
I don't even watch The Big Bang Theory and the ending of this episode still made me emotional.
