The ONLY redeemable thing about this movie is the fighting that starts with the Wookies. I give a hat tip to Samuel Jackson who just barely beats Hayden Christensen(?) for worst acting in the film. I can see the pain in both Samuel Jackson and Natalie Portman's eyes as they try to deliver the horrible dialog they were given. The transitions between scenes was laughable as well. I get it that they were supposed to be a nod to the later movies, but those movies were made 20+years ago and those transitions are just gimmicky now. I don't understand why I felt the need to finish this movie. 2+ hours? That is just arrogance.
Lackluster finale IMO compared to other seasons. There was more than a couple of scenes that took me out of the moment and left me confused as to the point of it.
WTH was with drunk Max? His addition to that scene made no sense.
For what he was, Quinn sure did die without much fan fare.
WTH was with all the exposition between Keane/Carrie with Quinn dead in the front seat?
Bringing Quinn back for this season reminded me of that last season of Scrubs. It just shouldn't have been done. They sent him off proper the first time.
Not the movie you want to watch on a date. I get why it gets reviewed the way it does. It is a quiet movie with little plot. If you're looking for something you can put on in the background that has some nicely framed scenes, I would offer up this movie. That being said...
Kim Gordon's scene is just terrible. Her delivery is flat and she seems to constantly looking for her lines on the floor or to the side.
Accomplished a lot in a small amount of time explaining the events that led to Budd Dwyer's death. The film makers did their best to explain a confusing story.
Wow, I heard such good things about this movie, but it was really bad IMO. So much talent wasted on a movie trying too hard. I wish I could think of one redeemable quality about this movie, but I'm drawing a blank.
Just plain dumb.
Not too impressed. Nothing I didn't already know and the acting wasn't that great given the caliber of actors involved.
This is possibly the most depressing movie I have ever seen. You have been warned.
I can't think of one good thing to say about this movie. Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen...and I've seen Troll 2.
I have never hate-watched a show before this one.
