The movie is entertaining, the concept is amazing but the execution was lacking in some places. The acting was overall pretty good. I wouldn't say there is really anything special here but I wouldn't say its a bad movie.
It's alright. Much better than Kubrick's first movie "fear and desire". I still found the story a little slow and hard to follow. The dialogue and acting is good.
This is the movie where Kubrick's cinematography really hits its stride. There are many amazingly framed scenes that are a pleasure to look at.
With all that said I would still only recommend this movie if you want to watch everything in Kubrick's filmography, otherwise I'd still skip this one
amazing movie. very oldschool if you are into that. I felt the story gripping and the cinematography was stellar. The acting has not aged super well but I didn't really notice as it is an old movie so it fits.

It is like a 5/10. I wouldn't call it a bad movie. There are some good lines and scenes, but overall it was just meh.

It is an interesting watch as Stanley Kubrick's first movie, but if it was longer than the 1 hour runtime I probably would have turned it off.
