This movie that finally proves that Jennifer Aniston can act when she's not in a romantic comedy. For a drama that should be about a woman's struggle to find life after losing a loved one and her own health, this marvels with the lack of constant crying, begging for sympathy and dwelling in the past. They don't even tell you what happened to scar this woman. Because that's not the point. This movie is everything I look for in a drama - it's not dramatic. Lots of stars and hearts with one extra for both Aniston and Barraza for a job well done. And perhaps one more heart for Aniston, who finally did something totally different to prove she's not just another Friend trying to sail that ship forever. For me, she's now in the Sandra Bullock category
I can't make up my mind on whether I like this or not. The acting is good, the writing is good, but then huge things like fight choreography is terrible.
This is such an easy show to watch. The crime is solvable with a little imagination, the comedy makes you smile and over all the characters are gentle on the nerves.
