So disappointing. I wish I never watched it.
Cheesy plot, where one dumb girl make a dumb decision to save someone that's not important, which sacrificing the whole team including her dad. And the stupid dumb girl lives - she doesn't worth it.

This movie had an interesting plot imo but I felt like there's a lot of thing missing in between.
I get what the "story" that this movie wants to tell but the scenes wasn't enough.
Well, it is a typical rape-revenge movie..
Contains a lot of ridiculous scene I must say, like literally NOONE can survived falling from that height + impaled on some huge tree branch and you get some hole in your abdomen which cure just within 2 days~??? NOBODY WILL SURVIVED THAT ON THEIR OWN
There's a lot of other scene similar like that but just watch it and figure it out yourself.
Nothing much to shout really.
Theoretically, this movie is a metaphor on what will happen (even it is not possible) if our DNA is being mutated or 'refracted'.
IMO, even though Annihilation brings along the "Arrival", "Alien", "Stalker" vibes with it, this movie is unique in its own way.
100% recommended !!
The only thing I like about this movie is Keanu Reeves.
The songs, the plots, the dramas... I LOVE EVERY SINGLE BIT OF THIS MOVIE!!
Right after this movie ended, when the credits shows up, and the song Remember Me came out, I was blooming in love when I first heard it sang by Miguel. Totally fell in love with the song.
I am super duper happy when "Remember Me" won Oscar for the BEST ORIGINAL SONG!!

It breaks my heart knowing how this story ended in the manga but PLEASE change the ending in this anime series I begging youuuu.
I was planned to binge rewatch this whole series once it ended cuz I am totally in love with the characters, the stories of each of them and etc but after knowing how it will actually ended kinda makes me devastated and part of me wants to avoid watching the final episode cuz I'm still in denial. If the end will be the same as in manga, I don't think I will ever watch this series again anymore.
Please don't ruined my fav anime. I hope you see this, Mr Director.

I cannot unsee that Madeline resembles Gal Gadot a LOT in this movie, with that hairstyles.
The Raid's sequels are way better than this movie. I really love the fight scenes but the plot are bit bored. Watched this only because of Iko and Yayan plus the fight scene.
Poor acting (main character), poor storyline.
There's a scene where Nakila was crying but no tears came out at all — cringe moment.
I was so surprised when I watched the prelude episode, it was fantastic!

It is more like musical shows, like Frozen and other Disney movies and they got different songs in each episodes.
The song is not like regular kids songs in other kids show (like Dora / paw petrol/ etc) where it keeps repetitive in every episode with same beat and stuff.
My daughter (19mo) and me (31yo) really love this :heart::heart:
This is my first time watching an African animated series and I absolutely enjoyed it from the first episode.
This series is very interesting for 30-year old me and I guess everyone will enjoy it too.

I never expect Netflix would produce this such movie.
I only watch this because of Ryuk.
I just have to say this is the WORST ADAPTATION ever !
Had to admit that the usage of technical jargon in this movie are quite a lot, especially in the middle of the story.
It was bit complicated for me to read through the subtitles plus processing of what they actually means. They talk about a lot of things just in one line.
I'm not blaming the movie, it just that I'm a slowpoke.
I watched this on Netflix so I can pause or rewind whenever I missed something but if I watch this on cinema, I guess I'll missed a lot.
Anyway, superb storyline! Can't wait for the sequels!
This movie is 100x wayyy better than any Godzilla movie ever made. This I can assure you.

The scene at the morgue are way hell too funny for me. I almost choked on saliva while binging on this particular scene lmao.
Last but not least, if you find yourself enjoying this movie, try watching The Interview, Jump Street, and Get Him To The Greek too.
