10 years after the release of the original film, Wes Craven returns as the director of a Freddy film with Wes Craven's New Nightmare. Where the makers of Freddy find themselves in danger. Especially the star of the original film Heather Langencamp and her son. The film is creative and cool. If this was a new demon that took on the Freddy persona, then one character shouldn't have died the same exact way Nancy's friend Tina in the first film though. That lacked originality too. The remake also doing that scene all over again was even worse though.
