This starts out as a Friday the 13th knockoff, and not a very good one at that. The murders are unoriginal and little boring. The movie plods along, and right when you're thinking, "Well this was a waste of time", it springs it's ending on you, an ending that I didn't see coming and makes the viewer reexamine everything up to this point. It's fantastic, and turns what would have been a run-of-the-mill slasher film into something demented and special.
