Good backstory and character development, but that is the few positives I can give this show. I watched the first couple seasons before giving up, but came back temporarily until I could not take it any more, even as a show in the background.
It is not very funny no matter how much they try, and the show is very overdramatic (intense music and slow-mo way too often throughout every episode) and very cheesy.
The task force is shown to have a lot of power to and makes way too many cheesy jokes about beating up the criminals they catch (if the police brutality doesn't bother you, you'll at least get over the joke very quickly).
It definitely plays up all the stereotypes it can, whether that be the flamboyant Jersey boy or the tough, can-do-anything Navy Seal. The cultural stereotypes are even worse.
