Actually one of the better run time films of the Marvel Universe, it still holds just a touch too much exposition for a rather straightforward adventure. Two great villains in this movie and why did these succeed when so many MCU villains don't work? Because they make it personal. When a villain just wants to take over the world, you don't connect. When the motive is revenge or greed, it works better. That's why Loki and Vulture worked and some of the more generic villains do not. This movie had great action set pieces, neato gadgets, and plenty of visual pop...one of the better cinematography examples in the genre. I wouldn't want to try 3D with this, though, because the cave/underground scenes and the black costumes at night might not work so well. Worth the viewing. 8/10
