I don't think the ending was bad but imo, it was disapointing.
dexter slowly learnt to genuinely love people throuhought the whole series, but he ended up just leaving the people he loves at the last moment. now I know this decision makes perfect sense, absolutely perfect sense given everything that happened. BUT the first and main reason he did that was because he realised he kept hurting people he loves. but that was because of his second life and all the killings. meeting hanna made him able to live without that part of him. I think that dexter dieing would have made more sense. I was sure a "happy ending" was impossible, and I don't know if it would have been better. still, my favourite series, not that I've watched lots of "series", but if I was to put this in my all time favourite series(adding in animes/mangas and shit) it would be top 3. 10/10 great characters developement, got very attached to them, great storyline ,just great everything. deb is hot
