As an obese woman and a feminist myself I have to honestly say that I strongly disliked this show. It's morals ("The patriarchy is at fault" and "Accept yourself even when you're not happy with how/who you are") are flawed, the pacing is odd and the villains unintentionally seem like the good guys when compared to the insanity of the characters you are actually supposed to root for. Make no mistake, this is a feminist tv show and it's not a particularly good one. I would advise to pass on it.
