Just like most people, I'd say this is not the best superhero movie. But it's also not the worst, it's just mediocre. Perhaps this is partly because I don't particularly like the superhero in question; he could have been called Superman in space with friends. But that's personal preference. My critique; the love interest was not convincing at all, the final battle was rushed and the special effects were sometimes distracting. I did like Ryan Reynolds' character changing, the ancient immortals storyline and the evil nerd.
An average movie that was good for a somewhat entertaining evening, but I won't be watching it again, especially with all the other great superhero movie adaptations these days.
