Ohhhh, sheeeeeeiiiittt! I'm only 6 seconds into the "THEN", and I've already got tears in my eyes. They've done it. They've finally remembered Adam. Oh, my Chuck, this better be a good episode or so help me Amara...

Chuck can seriously go to Hell. He is, on a mediocre day, 6000x worse than Amara in a bad year. If Amara has been reborn during this time, she absolutely would have slaughtered him, and nobody would try to stop her.

Wait...what? They're not trying to kill God? For the sake of "balance"? Get out of my face with that.
Ugh. Metatron. Why'd they have to mention that troll's name? Oh, right, I have to remember that he died as an almost tolerable character............ Nah, eff him.

I was bettin' we'd see Rowena again. After all, she didn't go to the Empty or anything. She just died. Which is one of the reasons why I was annoyed they used that spell on Eileen. It would have benefited them all more to use it on Ketch or Rowena.
And I called her "Hello, Boys". Crowley's mother, even in death.
Yeah, they literally said a few episodes ago that the door to the Cage was likely opened as well. So why did they assume Michael would still be down there?

Aww, she regrets everything that happened with Crowley. Not just the bad. EVERYTHING. I'm kinda creeped out by Rowena now, but at least her change of heart still stuck.

Wait, wait. So Adam really HAS been in the cage all this time?! WTF, writers?! You really didn't give a damn about him, did you?!?! Michael's the only one who has cared about him in the last decade.

"I tried the family thing." I swear, that better not be the only reference to Lisa and Ben we get all season. And I don't even remember the chick Sam was with. Something about almost running over a dog and a bunch of boring, drawn out, chemistry-less flashbacks?

Well, that's one way to get rid of Lilith. And it's nice to finally have an angel at full power again. How long has it been since we haven't had to worry about fallen wings or lost grace or whatever else? Man, how fun would this last season have been if part of it focused on the misadventures of Adam/Michael (Madam? Adael?) with Michael casually laying down the law when need be? Would've been a lot better than when Lucifer was roaming the earth, switching bodies every couple of minutes.

I quite like Adam. I didn't care for him much the first time around, but now, I keep thinking of what could have been. If Sam and Dean (and Cas_ cared enough to get him out of hell, he could have been a recurring character. He could have been a hunter, an informant, or just someone we saw one last time before he moved on with his life. He better not die by the end of this season. Michael, sure. But Adam better either live or go to Heaven.

I knew the Sue thing was sketchy. She was way too persistent and the minute Eileen agrees, she gets attacked by Vamps? Suspicious.

Ooh, hoo! Bringing back Purgatory! (And the Leviathans, unfortunately.)
Didn't it take a bunch of power and prep and such for Lucifer to be able to open a portal. Sure, it was to another universe, but still. Michael shouldn't have been able to whip one up so easily and WITH the handcuffs on.

I don't buy into Dean's "We are sorry" but I do buy into his "You didn't deserve that". Actually, it almost felt like the writers were trying to apologize through Dean. Still doesn't make up for anything.

A lot happened this episode. While this hasn't been one of my favorites this season, it is what a series finale episode should be. Not a bunch of filler with some old references throw in for fan bait. No, actually bringing back old mistakes and addressing them. Saying goodbye to characters once forgotten. Putting a period on sentences previously ended with an ellipses...

@sophiefilo16 I agree on so many points. I was so glad to see Adam and Michael back. At the same time, I was angry we didn't get to see Adam before this episode. Jake Abel did an amazing job balancing both characters. Although I didn't care about him at the beginning, I felt so sorry for him, being abandoned in hell and no one batting an eye for him when he clearly didn't do anything wrong to deserve it.
The whole "let's handcuff Michael" was plain confusing for me. I'm glad someone else pointed it out. Like, with handcuffs he can actually open portals to other worlds and stuff so, why do you have him handcuffed, then?
Also, the whole Chuck killing everyone in the casino (I think they're actually dead) is weird. The writers are just trying to make us hate him to death. He who once loved humanity and talked so kindly about it, just, on a big tantrum starts killing people just by the sake of it.
Like you said, we'll probably have Dick Roman and Leviathans back. Yeaaaaah! (said no one ever). But I also thought of Benny. And I'll be quite happy if we get another cameo. I just hope he isn't killed or anything again. I'm starting to get PTSD.

@vero-winchester I am so sick of Chuck this season. The entire fandom exploded with excitement when he had a cameo in the 200th episode. Now, the entire fandom is wondering why it's taking so long for someone to put him in his place. Chuck has always been immature, but he's also been responsible and caring, even when he gave up on humanity in season 11. This Chuck? Not even Amara, Crowley, Lucifer--not even LILITH--would have gone to such petty extremes over a slight falling out with the Winchesters. They mentioned fanfiction a few times this season, and that is what Chuck feels like. A twisted headcannon made canon...
