@gaim4a where did you see that?

@mankisme In the episode. Men in this series is crazy/perverts/control freaks or just weak sorry asses. Women are smart/beautiful/strong leaders. I don't understand why this theme is so popular. We fighting for equality isn't it? I don't see that in mass culture.

@gaim4a i think your politics has deluded you a bit. Characters have flaws, you seem to hyperfocus on the gender for some reason. The main villain of the season is a female nazi, calling Hughie Weak sorry ass, is misunderstanding the character. Hughie is the normal guy, you would look a sorry ass yourself in that situation. As for being a control Freak, i don't see how that puts men down. I'm sure they'll explain further why he is that way so it has nothing to do with that. Starlight in season 1 could be characterised as a dumbass for not figuring out ANYTHING that was happening around her. And for now, there's no other option but to make her a person under stress because the story naturally progressed to a point where that's the only role she could get into. Kimiko doesn't speak, so they gave her an arc which could work with that. As for women being beautiful idk, maybe that's just because of your sexuality, I'm guessing you haven't really called a man beautiful. As for strong, all characters except Hughie are extremely competent, no matter their gender. As for pervert man, that's just accuracy lmao. Many men are perverts, especially in ratio to women. Also didn't this episode have that girl who was into pleasuring men? Wouldn't she also be characterised as a pervert. You're just being too paranoid and snowflakish.

@mankisme I completely agree with you. Because of the presence of such themes in many films/games/series, paranoia starts to develop. However, I want to note that the development of the characters is practically not happening, and the scriptwriter does nothing with the given topics laid down in the first season. The series has a weak dramaturgy (at least in the second season), no sense of antagonizing the characters. Battles with the "gods among us" in the proposed context is simply impossible, so it does not happen. How many stories did we learn during the second season? Just a handful. And this is the problem.

@gaim4a I will agree that the new season wasn't on the same level as the previous one, the first one was extremely tight, this one had some boring spots but I did enjoy the last few episodes, i just think that your original comment was misguided however I'll still say that this season is a 7, whereas the previous was a 9 for me

@mankisme I agree with you, I have exactly the same feeling.
