[6.6/10] This one was weird, even for Bob’s Burgers. Doing a bottle episode where the whole family is freaking out over “butt worms” is a solid (albeit out there) premise, and there’s some laughs here. But the struggle to relieve the family’s grody infestation versus the effort to get the family to the symphony results in some unpleasant and not totally successful hijinks.

There’s a good emotional throughline here, with Linda worrying that she’s a bad mom who doesn’t give her kids culture and instead lets them come down with pinworms. And likewise, there’s a good affirmation that despite the kids’ bad report cards, they’re vibrant and creative children who still give Linda a lot to be proud of in terms of how she’s raised them. It’s the best part of the episode.

But the rigamarole before that, with all of the butt-scratching and chasing and even the vaunted Bob’s Burgers musical number aren’t quite up to snuff and come off as bizarre even by this show’s gloriously unrestrained standards.

Overall, the sentiment here is nice, but a butt-worm infestation as a driving conflict brings this one down.
