It was an entertaining but rushed last season. Most likely because half the time you’re lucky to get 3 seasons on Netflix.
They have rushed their shows that made it passed one season to end on the 3rd season. If they aren’t Stranger Things that is.
Not hating but they didn’t need the whole episode about a gay wedding just to keep up with the times. It served no real purpose otherwise.
With only 8 episodes they could have done something like give Kinsy’s friends more to do. Especially Scot who didn’t have anything to do at all.
I also was hoping Dodge would be back in some form. She was a better villain than Kevin Durand’s. He was better as a villain in Lost. It was especially silly when he stole a car and drove perfectly for his first time driving.
I will miss the show but it could have used 4 seasons because it just felt like a canceled show. That didn’t feel like the writers expected it to be the last one. So they rushed an ending for it.

@jim22200 there were many aspects this season that didn’t serve no real purpose. Actually this third installment was far from perfect and considering that the writers had been warned beforehand it was going to be last one, should have been handled a lot better. However and all things considered the fact that you need to point out the “gay wedding just to keep up with the times”, says a lot more about your own prejudice, rather than any faulty writing at hand.
The “gay wedding” served as much as purpose as Nina’s relationship with Josh, or Tyler’s connection with Carly, so what is the problem exactly? It’s been known Duncan was engaged since the season 2 premiere, if anything we needed the “gay wedding” for continuity issues and to close that chapter off.

@lemicomo The other relationships from the other seasons were pushed aside. In the favor of a wedding no cared about. Except people who think everything should be LGBTQ.
The singing in the scene was also lame and really not for fans of the show. Since no one was even given a chance to ship them as a couple or anything.
It’s like we were supposed to feel the love for them that their family members did. Gay wedding, regular wedding. Whatever am allowed to call it without someone offended.
It was forced and not as involving as the writers thought. Since they barely invested in them as a couple.

@jim222001 You're such a homophobe :joy: The show has 28 episodes and of those, only one was spent partly on portraying a wedding between 2 people. Who happen to be gay...

Not to mention that a large part of that episode was about the break-in by Gideon & Co., the stealing of the keys etc.

Don't get me wrong, this season was a disappointment for me overall, but the "gay wedding" was the least of its problems. The wedding episode - if nothing else - was a sweet and wholesome change of scenery and pace.

I get so sick and tired of people that masquerade their homophobia as "criticism". Just be honest to yourself and the rest of us and admit you're a homophobe.
