I thought the animation was done quite well when i saw this series in around 2007, and at that time i thought it was pretty awesome. It has some intense action scenes, vibrant colors, as well as a diverse group of characters.
Though looking back at it, the show probably doesn't stand well against the march of time.
There is plot at the beginning and at the end of the series, the rest felt like stand alone episodes.
