I could not agree more with you.
When I started watching the 1st episode, believing it was a war/spy tv series, my initial thought was "that's a bullshit". Reaching the end of first episode I realize, that my point of view was completely wrong. So, I had to watch again the 1st episode from another perspective. This time as a political satire, with tones of intelligent humor and this time... I was watching a gem!

This show is intelligent, keep that in mind when reading reviews / opinions.
You don't have to be smart or know anything about politics / countries that are NOT USA etc.
But it does help, a lot, when it comes to enjoyment and understanding.
