Wow, I wasn't expecting such beautiful cinematography! I loved the symmetry and the colors, and yes, such welcome disruptions of the expected that them kinda make you pursue them throughout the movie, working as a guideline, stimulating our curiosity, our senses.

The mother's distress is so palpable... but, just as much, it's unreachable.
The same way that we wait for the next looping spinning bottle and its moments of magical dancing, we get to wait, not joyfully as with the other task, for the moment of im/explosion. What will happen, then? But we don't get the answer. We're closed behind her doors: we can see it, we can sense it, but we'll never know it.

And the music. Totally welcome, but so sparse... amazing enough to make you miss it, lasting so little in order to surprise everytime it comes back: another burst of magic.
Great movie!
