Murder Party 2007

It's an alright movie, not bad but not good either but decent enough to make me say it's alright. This film is a little bit weird, and one of the themes i think in this movie is "art" and the variations of art and what can be art. On that front i feel like they did badly, conveying concepts like this but also they failed in their own execution of their own art. The film also is a different perspective from what we see from usual films and even it is a different perspective in life itself and it made me think a little. I still feel they did badly in their execution of what they were trying to do besides the art. The film follows it's plot until around the 30 minute left mark, that's when things from there until the end become a bit laughable not in the fun sense but more in the silly and Bad sense. The art the film makers were trying to strive for comes off more as silly (albeit there are some decent moments) and there were certain plot details that were severely under used and mis-used...i see much missed potential and sorry to go on about the art thing but i feel like they focused so much on their "art" in the movie that therefor the actual plot and sequences had lesser focus which is a shame. A film which did abstract art pretty well in my opinion is "Incision" (an excellent film). Overall i am pretty disappointed, and if you have read this and not yet watched the film, don't have high expectations.
