@kuuzo You know Matt Walsh is an actual grifter and con artist, right? And that this is entirely fictional? You actually seem like you're not too far gone and have simply fallen for this.
@jackdoddy All of the race grifters were properly paid to engage in their anti-racist grift for full display for the documentary. Did you think Robin DiAngelo, Sara Rao, and Regina Jackson were actresses pretending to be race grifters? They are paid to tell upper class white women that they are racist - that's not an act. Do you always parrot what your team's echo chamber tells you?
@kuuzo Do you know who you're defending? You might want to google him a little bit before you go any further.
@jackdoddy You literally created an account so that you could comment on this movie. You didn't even watch the movie, you just heard from your team that it was a "badscaryoffensive" movie and just had to comment lol
@kuuzo I was wrong, you are probably too far gone. Matt Walsh isn't just some 'right winger' and the fact that you view him as just some 'left vs right' talking head and 'they're all as bad as each other' says a lot about the rabbit hole you've gone down.
This is the alt account I use across the internet when dealing with people who might wish me harm. It's a sensible precaution and comes from being doxxed and having my life threatened, which happens regularly when you deal with the far-right. I grew up in a far-right cult, and since escaping that I have a particular interest in extremist politics and media. I do watch everything I can in this space, and I have definitely watched more of Matt Walsh than you have. In fact I have watched and read almost everything he's ever done that I can find. I say with absolute certainty that he is an unhinged, cruel, and vile man who is lying to you. That is objectively true regardless of your political beliefs.
This isn't some left vs right thing, this is just a poorly made movie where a nazi dresses up as his long-running and deeply unfunny characters to 'uncover' things that weren't covered in the first place. He then acts as if he's unveiling this pervasive world full of people who have infected everything, when really it's just a few weirdos he found on the internet or genuine smart people who he has taken out of context, talked over, and selectively edited. The entire movie is premised on something that is so small and inconsequential that this movie is the only place where the subjects are platformed and given any sense of importance. The way that he speaks and edits is so suspicious that even to someone who has no idea of the long grifting history of Matt Walsh, a slightly critical eye would make you mistrustful of how every scene is presented. Even with the benefit of scripting the entire thing, featuring people who don't belong on camera, 'outwitting' them through simple tricks and editing techniques, and having control of the entire thing he can't make a single one of his jokes land.
Walsh is making these movies because he's not good enough to make actual movies. Instead, he has to rely on scamming people like you.
@jackdoddy That's a lot to say about a documentary you haven't seen.

Equal parts hilarious and disturbing. The grift is real. When you profit from racism and the demand outstrips the supply, the lengths you'll go to in order to invent racism to keep the money flowing is extreme.
