Eh, it was nice to see Padme and Satine at the center of the story for once, but this was a pretty unambitious episode to put them in. The heavy-handed exposition about corruption and political bureaucracy wasn't handled especially well, and the central mystery of the episode was fairly paint-by-numbers as well. There's the slightest bit of juice in the idea that Satine is getting her feet on the ground and seeing how the sausage is made for life among the common citizenry, but for the most part this is a pretty bland outing that wastes an opportunity to give two of the show's more prominent female characters a compelling story.
