I think a rating slighty above 50 does not do this movie justice.
It was Gerry and Silva Andersons first, and if I´m not mistaken only, movie and the first time they used real actors. Combined with their skills in miniature / model making for special effects. The story was very interresting unfortunately they didn´t get as much out of it as they should have. And that is about the only minus I have. The had a great SciFi concept but they went to many side lanes to explore it deeper. And at times the scenes are to long and do nothing for the plot. But for a late sixties science fiction movie this is as good as they came.
