What a terrifying, trippy movie. I definitely did not understand it when I was a kid. As an adult, I absolutely get it, and also get what things in the movie did not work. I wish MGM had given Chuck Jones a larger budget to really transform his visions onto the big screen, making this film into a magical experience. Still, it's worth watching at least once for brilliant and bored tween and teen students with genius IQs... or something.
