if you paid attention to this episode, you'll notice that Sakamoto is actually dying -they let Sakamoto be the representative for the graduating students even though he's just a 1st year -clearly him going to America was a lie, even his senpai noticed it -he left the school cause his life wouldn't last long -he hit his face with the pie because yeah.....he's crying -if you search the english translation of the ED, it fits this ending
