I have to admit I may be being overly critical of this series. After watching Scott & Bailey, which so brilliantly captures the British meticulous and stringently regulated police procedure, and then watching Doctor Foster, which is such an intense thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat, this series felt sloppy, unbelievable and slow to get to its point. For another point of view, however my sisters highly recommended this, so I'll offer those varied viewpoint to you to make your viewing choice. I give Marcella a 6.5.
