One Piece 1999

I loved the early seasons of One Piece. But recently each episode seem to be like 10 minutes long. Most anime tend to have the opening 90 seconds long, but One Piece opening is 2:30 minutes, then follow by a dialog flash back that's 2-3 minutes. One episode I timed that it didn't start until the 5:25 minute mark. Then fights last multiple episode just like Dragonball. It seem they used every trick they can to stretch the show out and provide the least amount of contents.

yes, for a long time that I feel it only advances 5minutes per episode. but not much we can do than complaint about it.

@hai And 4 years later this is still true.

@hai There are fanedits that fix these issues. For legal reasons, I'm not saying which.

@eksevis how does mentioning particular fan edits endanger you legally? And what’s the point of the comment you made then?

They do this because they are catching up to where the manga is, and if they do that, they have to wait a while until they can release a new episode because the manga is always first. It would be better if they did not make an episode every week.

@hai keep in mind that now the episodes don't have ending so... And about the flash back dialog, yes, it sucks but we can't don much about that ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Anime do that when they are starting to catch up to the Manga aka source material

@hai It's even worst than the first version of Dragon Ball. They look at each other the whole episode. It jumps from battle to battle. The graphics are also becoming worst episodes by episodes. In the end, I watch the episode in 5min.

This show is not worth watching anymore. I tried for all those years ...

@allthingsanthony Lawyers will probably go after everyone and everything mention something only slightly illegal. I would assume they may even go after trakt because they did not remove a reference to a piracy page or mentioning of someone specific.

Also: If you are actually interested you will probably search it yourself anyway.

@appoxo99 You're a paranoid little one, aren't you? lol Talking about illegal things is not illegal. The catch is whether or not you do said illegal things.

@lorelei19

Lol. Try linking to something like a public torrent page a la TPB or similar. You will probably get a letter from trakt about a comment being removed due to DMCA.

Not really paranoid, just cautious. No need to throw rocks in a glass house.
