6.8/10. I'm a sucker for the Order of the Triad, so this one should have been right up my alley (they did provide a good number of laughs), but something just felt off about this one. Orpheus coming to terms with his ex-wife's beau mastering skills he did and dealing with hell demons just didn't have the punch I might have expected. Details like Jefferson Twilight getting over his magic inferiority complex were amusing, and The Alchemist as always had some great lines, but for the most part I just wasn't feeling it.

H. Jon Benjamin as the Master is always great in his sarcasm though, and Triana's story about becoming a sorceress and getting out of her dad's limiting shadow was a solid little throughline. It dovetailed well with Dean's story about learning how to court girls. He's sincere but adorable bravado at having talked to an actual girl was pretty sweet, as was his eventual scene that seemed to close the loop on his crush on Triana. Overall, a perfectly pleasant episode that still felt like it was spinning its wheels at times.
