My mom had watched it months ago and told me she fell asleep in the middle of it, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Having finally seen it tonight, I have to wonder if we were watching the same movie! First off, it was unexpectedly funny. But also so intense! I got really emotional for the last half-hour or so, actually. Now I'm dying to read the book.
