@nextstep I realise that, and I freely admit to being very fussy. I know what I like and it has to impress me. Good examples of this genre are American Horror Story and Penny Dreadful... quality telly that gripped me from the first episode. Recently, Westworld has had that effect... simply, brilliant. Unfortunately, Channel Zero did not grip me. Sorry.
@plittlefield I have to agree with you there. If you keep looking at your watch to see how much time has passed and you are starting to wonder when the episode is finally going to be over... that is probably when you should decide to stop watching the series. That is what happened for me with this show. Penny Dreadful and American Horror Story were so different indeed in that they grabbed my eyeballs and glued them to the screen. Channel Zero I had to turn off a couple of times just because I could not stand the tardiness of the "plot".
