A friend showed me this, as I probably wouldn't have just picked it out myself. However it was more entertaining than I anticipated. Made me laugh, say whaaat, and all that numerous times. Got a few inside jokes out of it too. Check it out for some fun.
This was so much funnier than I expected it to be. I had tears in my eyes. Just what I needed.
Hill and Tatum have good chemistry working with a solid script. It hits all the usual notes and does it well. I enjoyed the fun cameos too. It's a shame the late Steven J Cannell isn't alive to see what became of his creation. Jump Street and A Team make it 2 for 2, I'll take a Greatest American Hero or Wiseguy next thanks.
Terrible movie... If you have any idea about what good and bad is, then you would definitely not want to watch this crap movie... 1 rating from me...!!!
Although this looked, by all indications, to be just another empty cash-in on a familiar franchise from thirty years ago, in reality it's a completely self-aware semi-satire that's funnier than it has any right to be. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum take their roles about as seriously as the film does itself (read: not at all) but still manage to develop a weird sort of chemistry as a helplessly stupid, modernized odd couple. It's to be expected that they'll stumble and bumble their way to the head of a major criminal organization. But rather than trying in vain to avoid the cliches inherent with such a familiar premise, 21 Jump Street completely embraces them and actually dictates its decision to do so. Maybe the best example of this is in Nick Offerman's all-too-brief cameo, as he stares down the lens and deadpans a monologue about recycling thin gimmicks from the past. For storyline purposes, he's talking about the department resuscitating the Jump Street undercover program, but it doesn't take a grin or a wink to know what he's really on about. He grins and winks anyway. As a parody of everything from its genre to its audience, this is pointedly effective stuff. It struggles to develop into anything more serious, but that's not really the point.
Funny film with some shipshape moments, tremendous laughs and ace action.
Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum work well together in this movie. The differences in their characters feed off each other to bolster the comedy. The comedy was slapstick at times, but for the most part very entertaining and engaging.
Didn't expect this to be good. It was, though. Hilarious! Laughed the whole way through.
Okay this was hilarious, like genuinely funny. Go watch it!
It's FUNNY and very re-watchable, especially if you like any of the actors.
Had been looking forward to this one for ages & had high expectations... it completely lived up to my expectations! i loved this movie it was brilliant & hilarious. i recommend it.
Very funny, really enjoyed this at the cinema. Also nice surprise near the end for old 21 Jump Street tvseries fans.
"I would choke the shit out of Glee if I could... if Glee was a person."
I forgot how funny this movie is. After years of mediocre comedies I feel like my love for this film has grown much more. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum have amazing chemistry and there doesn't seem to be a dull moment from start to finish.
This remake of 21 Jump Street was very entertaining, hilarious, and raunchy. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum had some great chemistry. The story line was surprisingly good; usually movies of this type lack greatly in that department and the cameos were well done and hilarious. I'd recommend this film to anyone who enjoys a good laugh.
One of the best comedies
21st Century action-packed 'Freaks and Geeks'.
Naughty and funny!
Quite good, actually.
Excellent movie, laughed loads
Sooo f#+?*!% funny! :D :D :D
Channing Tatum just nails everything in this one right? And the chemistry between him and Jonah Hill is fantastic. Haven't seen 21 Jump Street in about 5 years and my girlfriend wanted to watch another Channing Tatum movie so I couldn't have chosen a better film right?
Anyway I totally forgot that Nick Offerman was in this one! So weird seeing him without his Ron Swanson mustache! Ellie Kemper is even in this one! And they have just the right amount of Ice Cube!
21 Jump Street for me still holds up, I remembered most of the big scenes and jokes and they still landed which means it is a comedy to my heart. And I do believe it is one of the better comedies of the last decade. Comedies are hard to get right because everyone has another sense of humor but I do believe Christopher Miller and Phil Lord hit the nail on the head (is this the right expression in English) with this one for most people!
Still very funny and rewatchable.
Such an amazing movie. For sure!
A fun film that makes us laugh with its unbelievable events. Furthermore, it also demonstrates how each generation goes through significant changes, becoming more different and aware.
whoever wrote the humor for this movie is right on the nail, the humor is still relevant and funny after a decade. think that was the first time i actually laughed & i never do to comedic-intended movies

Lord & Miller are a pair of master car dealers in another life because I can't see how a pitch meeting to make a movie based on a show from the turn of the 90s and add a comedic twist would end with a studio and producers saying, "Here, take my money!". On top of that, to come out the other side and deliver on that with a solid movie. We get a little nod or two to the original show and the spirit of what it used to be does reside at the core of this comedy. Will watch the sequel at some point.
One of the funniest comedy movies I’ve seen. The humour landed perfectly and the character arcs were good. Loved Jonah as the character and the plot of two stupid undercover cops in a school.
Hilarious movie. My name is Jeff

The part when they're totally high in school is thr best thing ever! damn I just love this movie
Great movie overall. Love the chemistry that Tatum and Hill have. Ice Cube is absolutely hilarious in the movie as well.
You've got the right... To suck my dick!
This movie is beautiful.
My fav comedy movie ever!
The scenes when the two idiots are high is worth watching the movie to see

So freaking hilarious!!!! I loved it !!! Definitely a good time!!!
Awesome. Really funny
Didn't give this a far chance, will try again.
Lame scenario but still funny :)
Sure this formula has been used to death. But it still a great movie!
Few good scenes, poor scenario, clichés and déjà vu everywere!
One of the worst movie I have ever seen.
Not funny unless you think it is funny that they "trip". Nothing special.
V Yep. I cried laughing watching this. It's all I ask from a comedy and this one delivers.

Refreshing, entertaining, and very well done. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill work brilliantly together!
And of course, a quote from Ice Cube has to be posted!
"Clearly I wasn't talking to you, big-titties. You cherub-looking motherfucker. I was talking to your partner, fake-ass Handsome McGee here. When I'm talking to him, I'm talking to him. When I say "shut the fuck up," I'm talking to you."
