So did he do it or not? I hate getting invested in a movie that's supposed to be about solving a crime only to have it end with an ambiguous "Well maybe he did maybe he didn't!" Bullshit.

The film looks good, with a fine attention to period detail, but the story is a little thin. I suspect there were issues in the editing room too, as some scenes feel quite abbreviated. I enjoyed it for the most part, but it needed more depth and story to truly grip my attention.
