A Speck in the Water 1976

Nunal sa Tubig is a Philippine film directed by Ishmael Bernal with screenplay by Jorge Arago, distributed by Seven Stars Productions in 1976. About 2 hours long, it tells the story of a community living on an island where fishing is the main source of livelihood and how they are affected by progress. It was nominated for numerous awards in the first Gawad Urian and was named as one of the most outstanding films of the 1970s by the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino.
