A great little documentary about the Pappas brothers and Tas' rivalry with Tony Hawk. Although the documentary is pretty one sided against Tony Hawk and the X Games it's still an extremely compelling story about two skaters who were left in the dust of Hawks shadow due to unfortunate circumstances. I may not agree with Vices extremely one sided views on politics and how politically charged their stuff can be sometimes but they are always good at highlighting stories you would not normally notice through their well directed documentaries.
Strap in for a documentary that grinds through the exhilarating highs of skateboarding success and the harsh wipeouts fueled by the destructive force of drugs. Tas and Ben Pappas' story unfolds like a wild ride on a half-pipe, blending the thrill of the sport with the shadows cast by substance abuse. It's a gripping tale that earns an 8 out of 10, exposing both the ecstasy and the agony of their journey.
Great documentary about interesting characters. Sad what happened to them. The Tony Hawk part is heart breaking, never was a skater icon for me but if this is true, well.... shame on you.
A real good doco. Watch it

A very good, but very depressing documentary about the Pappas brothers. About their life, skateboarding career, and their fate.
Well done technically, but you can see that this was the first film Eddie Martin has done. A little 'raw' around the edges. But it delivers non-the-less.
Recommended viewing for anyone with even a passing interest in skateboarding and skateboarding culture.
