these type of film really aren't my thing usually but its been a new year resolution to get through my entire watch list A-Z, Alone in Berlin was second on the list.
At times a little dull, even with the plot I sometimes felt like I wanted more emotion, Emma Thompson was rather good but felt Brendan's perfornance a little robotic and dull at times. Some scenes which should have been raw and full of emotion were just.... well.... scenes. But overall it held my attention and knowing it was based on true events makes it that bit more special, a decent one time watch!

An interesting tale of wartime rebellion. A little more insight was needed into the main characters perhaps, and the film seemed a little sketchy at times. Still worth watching - as with the act of rebellion, the film may be slight, but it still leaves a lasting impression.

Good movie, good story based on real events, very well played by the lead actors.
But please, if you make a movie where english isn´t the native language stop making everyone speak with accent. All characters are German, the viewer knows that, so normal english would be perfectly fine.
