What a disappointment.. the plot just isn't focused, some characters are just stupid (cops, again) and a sloppily written home invasion fails to deliver as well.. When the overall arc seems to reach it's end it's not rewarding at all.. It's just, there... among the living.. :/
These guys can do way better... This didn't make much sense and most characters acted stupid.

Gory, chilling, and brutal. It's exactly what you'd expect from this duo. This French slasher/coming-of-age film may not have the most original story and feel too PG at times but the suspense and gore make it an entertaining watch. They don't go nearly as wild with the gore as in_Inside_ or Livid, but there's enough brutal violence going on here to please horror fans. The antagonist is definitely the most interesting character in this film but because of how poorly fleshed out they are, the final act ends up feeling a bit lackluster. Still, I think it's decent enough and it's worth viewing for sure.
