The movie poses many questions about mental illness, but makes little effort in making clear what exactly those questions are, or what discussion should come from them. It's a slow mess of a film that makes the most of its location and Yost (in her film debut), who is actually pretty good. Everyone and everything else though fails. It has a solid, creepy opening credit sequence though... It feels more like a sad social commentary about the forgotten elderly, than a true statement about mental illness.
