On the bright side, this made the first movie look good.
It was awful at so many levels.
Overacting was the norm.
The characters were even more abnormal I take back what I said about Hansje - this time she spent half the time screaming).
And the ending was just pathetic .
Not as good as the first one, but still fun. Further develops the mythology well enough and does different things than its predecessor. I liked the old school Kaiju smackdown.
if you just keep to the anime you'll be better off!
it was a nice try, but... some anime's... you just don't want to make a movie out off.
One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Top 5 for sure. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it even managed to be worse than the first live action, somehow.

Go with low expectation into the movie then you will enjoy it. Sure, It's not as good as the original one, but it offers the audience an alternative story background for the series and why the wall and the titan were made.
