This was one sick bastard. This man was able to get away with the worst crime anyone could commit against someone else. But, I also feel even if we had the technology then to prove what he did, there are powers that be that would've prevented it from being known. I truly believe that. Rarely have we known any doctor to be prosecuted for anything. Look at the lives he destroyed. Perhaps if it were not for his actual children finding each other, the world would have never known about this wacko. I'm pretty sure he didn't think that would happen either!!

so much of this movie is upsetting but nothing was quite as bad as the text at the end of it telling us that fortier is just one of many doctors who did this.
