'Back To The Future' is one of the most enjoyable time-travelling classics. It's over 23 years old and it still hasn't gotten old. Sadly, they don't make it like this these days but then again we always can revisit them. That's why they're classics. Let your imagination fly.
One of my Favorite Movies. Have seen it more then 5 Times and still like it.
Fore sure one of the best movies ever made. Remember seen it on the afternoon movie session on TV.
One of my all time favourite movies. So cleverly written. The film is actually flawless in my eyes. I adore Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd!
Feeling nostalgic for a time when I wasn't even born.
I don't usually enjoy science fiction films all that much, but the "Back To The Future" trilogy is the main exception. I absolutely love them. I hadn't seen it since I was a kid, and when I saw the first one the other day, I wasn't disappointed. It was just as enjoyable as how I remembered it. There were a couple of really obvious mistakes in it, which I didn't seem to notice when I was a kid. But I'm not gonna dwell on them, because all films have mistakes. I'm not even gonna point them out. Just enjoy the amazing films.
Even 35 years on, this film remains accessible, engaging and exciting. Its strength are in the notion that it's a human story first, where the time travel element exists only to create wild and intriguing scenarios.
This movie doesn't suffer the kind of aging seen with other films of the era, as the depictions of both the 1980s and the 1950s are faithful and consistent. Even as the 1980s have started to look more like the 1950s today, it doesn't date itself with any wild predictions about technology and social trends, apart from a cheeky, pandering, but ultimately thrilling final shot, which serves its purpose perfectly.
The films pacing and writing is flawless, with just about every major set piece firmly established then paid off. A solid example of bookmarking, which doesn't appear to be too apparent or jarring on first viewing.
The only thing that prevents this film from being a 10 for me, is it's over reliance on comedy to drive the film. I mean, I understand that this blockbuster was marketed as a comedy, driven by its star talent Michael Fox at the time to get people in cinemas... but its legacy is its adventure. I wish that we had a few more moments of drama and peril interjected, with a more defined focus on causality, particularly as Marty deals with strange and unfamiliar scenarios. The comedy is solid, but it occasionally takes me out of the story. In addition, the films ending is pretty cliche, and the biggest thing that dates the movie today, as the characters happy ending is effectively represented by a gross embodiment of the American dream, and reliance on material possessions.
The creators would get the opportunity to explore different methods of storytelling in the sequels, and they serve fantastically to build the Back to the Future world into something rich and engaging.... but that all starts with this absolutely solid story that could easily stand on its own.
Probably not fair judging this movie more than 30 years later at my first view, but I didn't like almost anything. I hated the actors performances. Perhaps I should have watched it when I was a kid.
This is my top movie of all time! Secret cinema did this film showing in London. Was the best day i've had in a long time.
Perfect.......in every way, an outstanding trilogy of films too
Loved this classic.

I survived all my childhood without watching “Back to the Future”, and without nostalgia to fall back upon, I can confidently say that even though it didn’t age that well, it’s at least a little above the standard of mid-80s popcorn entertainment. It’s cheesy as fuck and full of awkward prepuberal (un)coolness (the Enchantment Under the Sea scenes being the most painful to watch), but as a family film it still does its work pretty well. The way Marty ends up altering the future is actually interesting, and something that would probably not happen in such a film nowadays. I was not really fond of the happy ending that sees Marty reborn as the stereotypical 1980s yuppie, no longer in the same family of losers “with a capital L” he used to dislike. It just went from one cartoony extreme to another.
Marty's plan to pretend-rape his mom so that his dad will beat him up was unsound, to say the least.
What more can be said about this film... Brilliant story, great pacing, iconic moments.
35 years on, still a classic.
(In a film about time travel, it seems strange to look for plotholes and incredulous moments - but there are good few)
9/10
Full speed ahead to Batshitcrazytown for Crispin
nice movie and better ideas about future
where we're going, we don't need roads!!
cult classic, a perfect film!!
Super fun movie that is just great entertainment.
About as perfect a popcorn movie as they get. Filled with easter eggs, humor, warmth, and clever plotting. Great Scott!
1.21 Gigawatts! This movie is like fine wine it just gets better with age, it's a timeless classic. I love everything about this movie one of the best time travel movies ever made.
at least 25 times I saw this film in the theaters when it was first released.
Today is the day for a BTTF movie marathon
I’m watching this movie in 4K today. I can’t remember exactly how many times I’ve rewatched this movie since my childhood. This movie is timeless and it will never age.
I have the two sequels lined up to watch next in 4K as well. Today is a good day. :thumbsup_tone2:

Perfectly harnesses the power of time travel
Yup!!It's time to go back, man.
They don't movies like this anymore, perfect in every way. One of my favourite ones of all times. Even after all these years still stands up just as great.
This is the greatest trilogy ever made! Hands down!

What The Hell Is Gigawatts???
Classic. Nostalgic. All three are unique and interesting. One of the best trilogies of all time.
Back to the Future is a classic 80's film that has stood the test of time. The film's blend of sci-fi, comedy, and adventure makes it a timeless classic that appeals to all audiences. Michael J. Fox delivers an excellent performance as the lead character, and the supporting cast is equally impressive. While the sequels have their appeal, the original Back to the Future remains the best of the series.
What can be said about this movie that hasn't been said already. Plenty of neat little details and a fun story that runs through it.
8.5/10
Awesome Amazing and absolutely entertaining,
And ironically timeless.
And one thing I am so happy about is that they have a ban on them from ever being remade.
are having a 4th installment done.
More movie series should have this ban imposed on them.
Back To The Future
Is good fashion family entertainment, and will forever be iconic. It's aged really really well and is still one of the most well put together trilogies of all time. Everything is so perfectly planned out and I absolutely love how they set up the next movies events in the current one you are watching. Everything matters and is on purpose, and
pays off,
Probably why I am such a
Mega Super Fan Of
The MCU.
Back to the future is a Phenomenal movie and everything about it is Quality, and even from my childhood a very long time ago this movie still and always will have a special place in my heart,
And no doubt this was probably one of those movies I saw as a child and thought time travel is so cool, decades later time travel movies are now my favourite types of movies,
And I definitely know who I have to thank for that.

5 Stars of the best
movie
A great movie where the son gets to go back in time and change his parents for the better. It is a little out of character. For Doc to even fly the delorean in 1985 not thinking anyone could see him.
When he’s someone who always mentioned the risks of time travel.
Watching it on Father’s Day with my kids and still a perfect movie. We were laughing all along. The only comment was that my kids struggle to differentiate 1985 from 1955. For them it was all “old”
Pretty enjoyable, as a regular 80's movie. Still surprised how did I not watch this before... What a classic
Seen this film now for the first time in 2020 which is crazy considering that it is a movie classic. But yeah, I really loved it. Great story, characters and setting. Can't wait now to watch the second part.
An endearing mad scientist cracks the secret to time travel and snares his young assistant in a complicated familial paradox. Do I really need to summarize? The original Back to the Future is one of the decade's most ambitious, identifiable smash hits, a genre-straddling film that's still effective more than thirty years later.
With a warm, slightly off-kilter personality, fabulous characters, a craftily complex plot and a fantastic musical score, there's no shortage of reasons why it's aged so well. Perhaps most impressive is the cast; one perfect fit after another. Michael J. Fox, at the onset of his overnight fame, is equal parts driven and perplexed by the chaos surrounding his life. Lea Thompson and Crispin Glover each nail double roles as deflated, defeated adults and their glowing, energetic teenage counterparts. Christopher Lloyd might be the best of them all as Doc Brown, the forever-old, slightly deranged mastermind who never completely believes he's accomplished his life's greatest goal.
The story has a few holes (what time-skipping adventure doesn't) and sometimes tries to be a little too cute, but such shortcomings are easily brushed aside as the large/small adventures unfold. Expertly written, directed, acted and produced, with memorable lines a'plenty and a charming, optimistic spirit, it's a well-worn favorite.
8 - Great
This movie doesn't feel dated, despite it being released in the '80s. I quite enjoyed the scenes with Marty & Doc Brown but was not such a fan of the scenes between Marty and his younger mom. Good plot, acting and doesn't show it's age. Can't wait to see Back to the Future Part II!
“Roads? Where we’re going, we don't need roads.” From Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis comes the ‘80s classic Back to the Future, a smart and funny family film. When Marty McFly is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a time-traveling DeLorean he seeks the help of the time machine’s inventor, Dr. Emmett Brown, in order to get back; all the while trying to avoid disrupting the timeline. Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Crispin Glover form an incredible cast that gives excellent performances. Fox and Lloyd have great chemistry together and play off each other exceptionally well. Also, the humor is especially well-written, and does a particularly good job with the culture clash between the 1980s and the 1950s. Additionally, Alan Silvestri delivers a brilliant and energetic score that has become one of most memorable movie themes in cinema. Back to the Future is a masterpiece that has stood the test of time, and is still as entertaining and poignant as it was when it was first released.
Such a good childhood movie. I just came back to this movie and I love it so much. And it’s probably the reason why I love science fiction
I think this movie was one of the best at it's time(34 years ago) but for a new watcher it has nothing to present, if you want to enjoy it you have to imaging yourself as a kid in 1985
We sadly run out from this kind of movies..Such a beautiful, unique and interesting movie you can't be bored for a minute.8.3/10
Thanks to my curiosity of watching the third film for the first time then googled to find out more info about the film, only to discover that it was a part of a trilogy.
This is one of the best movie I ever watched.
Incomparable. This is in the big league.
Why didn't I give it 5 stars? We'll see on a rewatch.
This program is very good and great
Image 3.5 / 5 and sound 4/5 . this week is a must se movie, years without see and has not lost anything
Classic really dials it up to 88
Commenting here on BTTF day. Because epic.
Very much a classic movie.
the conflict in the middle of movie is genius
Absolutely, incredibly great. It made me laugh out loud, had great characters who were played brilliantly and so many little things that made sense later, feeling like the movie was packed with easter eggs.
What an awesome adventure! I had so much fun watching this!
Back To The Future is such a creative story that perfectly works, it's clever and very humorous. Full of great characters and amazing performances. Michael J. Fox plays Marty McFly wonderfully and Christopher Lloyd is also great as the lovely mad Doc Emmett Brown. With all of this is impossible not to love this film.
Robert Zemeckis created one of the best adventures of cinema ever! It instantly became one of my favorites! Timeless classic.
Best movie ever, seen it like 10 times!! True classic movie!!
a good movie, even for today
Never bad, never boring, never old
Epic - still better today than most movies coming out today!
One of my favorite movies from childhood, and that great music theme from the movie - unforgettable... :))
Who didn't live Marti and this whole series.
Best movie of all times
"1.21 gigawatts !?"
"1.21 gigawatts !?" (O_O)
I have to disagree with BoldlyDelicious there. Just watched it again and tried to be a kid again, watching it for the first time. And I just thought to myself: This is still a great and fun movie! It's both timeless and at the same time the ultimate 80's movie. First and foremost, this is a kid's movie (as it was back then), the same way Star Wars was it. And you wouldn't call Star Wars an overrated movie now, would you?
Can't wait to have kids on my own and watch it with them in the future!
Great movie, but the typical nostalgia effect: Severely overrated. It's really just a good example of fun, 80s cinema, but not an incredible film. A must-watch mainly for the frequent references to the film in pop culture.
one of them movies you never get bored with, i love it
someone didn't like it? Are you even human?
For me : best movie ever !!
ALL TIME FAVORITE
I can watch this over and over and over again :D
It was awesome in my childhood and it still is awesome today!
One Heck Of a Thrill Ride Outstanding Movie. Thumbs Up!
yeah... that is a good movie...
One of my childhood favorites.
