It’s been awhile and I forgot It was that good, definitely one of the best cop films, beats number one by far and both Will and Martin work great together. I hope the upcoming 3rd one isn’t a flop.
Greatest comedy action movie of all time
Just another Michael Bay action flick nothing special by any means!
Bigger, better, funnier, louder, and a lot longer. If the length was an hour shorter, this would have been no competition to the first. Everything from the direction and camerawork to the acting and stunts was an improvment. I seriously do not know how this is rated so low. It's pure action and comedy made to make you feel like you sniffed some happy dust. I didn't really care much for the plot because whatever was on screen distracted me enough to forget. It's probably the most memorable and forgettable one from the series. Which is perfect because it feels fresh every time.
Some great action scenes and well put together. Would've been an 8/10 for me if it wasn't for Martin Lawrence's script.
Best one of the trilogy for sure, but all 3 are good. Just watched this again and it is stupendous!
Mind-numbingly awful, Bad Boys II is an insufferable and offensive piece of garbage from director Michael Bay. The performances from top to bottom are terrible. And even the action is piss-poor, as it has no focus and is way too over-the-top. Noisy and chaotic, Bad Boys II is atrocious in every way.

All i have to say is critics never understood Michael Bay.
Forgot how actually good BB and BB2 was. The interaction between Smith and Lawrence is timeless good. And the limits in CGI back in time made those Michael Bay movies better cos of the missing lens flares. Oldskool action. Love it.
Bad Boys II takes everything the last film did and ups it to the next level. The action is fast paced and a lot of fun without being too ridiculous. The comedic pairing of Smith and Lawrence is even better here because of the time that’s past to make their relationship feel more authentic. Unfortunately, the film’s runtime is also increased by nearly 30 minutes from the previous film and its mostly unnecessary filler moments that feel like they don’t have much bearing on the actual plot. Granted a couple of these scenes are fun (we all love that Reggie scene) but most just bring the film to a crawl.
Louder and longer with less of a coherent plot than the first film. At least Smith and Lawrence have chemistry. Lawrence especially has a funny scene where he accidentally gets high.
Michael Bay still hasn’t learned though. His brainless action films aren’t as epic as The Godfather. They don’t need to be nearly 3 hrs.
I like this one more than the first because it just gets even more crazy and weird in a good way. It's still not a good movie but it has its moments. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith are having fun. It is waaaaay too long. Do we really need two and a half hours of this? I thought the first one was a little long at two hours. I would watch a third if they ever make it.
fun buddy cop movie the two main actors definitely play well off each other a big improvement from the first one in my opinion
One of the best movies of all time. Can't wait for the 3rd installment!
