This is a pure horror film, extremely creepy and surrealist, don't expect a very deep plot, but the movie it's well done for a low budget film from Turkey (I've seen worst movies with better budget). David Lynch cross my mind while watching this movie. In two words: Creepy - Surrealist.
Very nice movie! The characters are believable and the acting is great. Actually the effects are very nice too and the movie is very nicely shot. It's a bit hard to explain but it has a sense of macabre beauty to it. It truly feels otherworldly, and not just simply gory too, which helps alot with the tone of this movie.
And most importantly, the movie is truly a "horror" movie, and it really frightens you and makes you unsettled instead of just using the normal horror movie setup. I would recommend this to any horror fan.
A terrible, tertrible mess of a movie that completely falls apart in the final third. It's filmed and scored beautifully though. Another commenter mentioned David Lynch. It DOES remind of him: it feels like a knock-off that copies the formal, structural elements but has none of the ambition or talent behind it. If you expect horror, don't go for this movie. It's not really creepy either, it uses a bunch of stock clichees that come off as more like the movie screaming "LOOK HOW WEIRD AND EDGY THIS IS???" than actually creating a strong atmosphere.
Just another reason not to go in creepy, abandoned houses.
Good:
-Torture, butchery, cannibalism and all the bloody shit you shamefully like. A lot of memorable scenes of this sort in the second part of the film.
-The part when they discover the cult in the darkness of the abandoned police station is terrifying
-The evil dwarf leader of the satanic cult. Really unique and iconic character
Bad:
-The plot doesn't make sense, and the fact that this could only be Arda's dream doesn't justify its inconsistency.
I read there are a lot of references to Turkish traditions. Frogs, keys, goat headed females are interesting but i wish the director had built a comprehensible plot with all these scary elements.

What a batshit insane film! It's entertaining, stylish, disturbing, and gruesome. It manages to tell a compelling and frightening tale, mainly through a dreamlike narrative that is far from surreal for surrealism’s sake. There's something seriously nightmarish about the atmosphere of this film and it gets increasingly horrible and unnerving as it goes on. It hosts some absolutely bonkers imagery and its portrayal of hell is so visceral and freakish, reminds me a lot of Hellraiser. The music's foreboding electronic thumps hook me in so much that I can't help but love this. If you like your horror with tons of gore and defies logic and sense, then this is for you.
Well, The creep factor went a little down compared to the short movie (the original that came out 2 years back) but still pretty good while it has some weird factor into it and really disturbing and disgusting which if not done right cost into the quality of the movie and its story and that is what happened with the movie. It could have been a great movie or rather could have been the best movie I had watched (of Turkey) but failed.
However, still, its deserving of the word "good" movie by Turkey. I didn't expect them to do it like they did and pretty nice.
Around 70 minutes of movie. First 30 minutes of NOTHING, literally. One of the most terrible movies I ever watched.

A joyless and depressing experience... and that isn't meant as a negative comment. This descent into hell is full of disturbing imagery and gore, and for the most part effectively realised.
